Cooper River Bridge, Original

While vacationing in North Carolina, Debra became fasinated with the Cooper River Bridge. It reminded her of string art. Two paintings in one, the painting at the top is a view looking out of a sunroof while driving over the bridge, the painting on the bottom is a distant view of the bridge.

Dancing with Attitude

St. Augustine is the oldest city in the United States. It has building that date back to the 1400's. Debra and her husband enjoy visiting St. Augustine on a regular bases. The inspiration for this painting came from the pattern around the lighthouse. Little did she know it is considered the most haunted lighthouse in the US.

Who doesn't love butterflies and flowers? Debra saw this unusual flower in her garden and knew she hat to put it in her painting along with the butterfly.

Fort Aglow

This fort in St. Augustine was built in the 1400's. It has a lot of history, at one time when the city was being atacked all the the townspeople stayed int the fort. American Indians were also kept prisoner in the fort. The history of the fort is what inspired Debra to do this painting.

When you visit Miami you seel all these beautiful Art Deco buildings. The building in this painting is owned by Lowes Hotel. Debra was inspired to painting this building because of it's shape and size.

Debra gets al lot of inspirtation for painting guitars from both her husband and brother. The Fender guitar in the 1st painting is owned by her husband. The Fender bass guitar in the last painting is owned by her brother who plays in a band and of course inspired the stage setting. She often vistits the guitar stores with her husband. While at the store she was fascinated with the two guitars that are featured in the center painting.
